ginny soskey headshot copy Hey there, I’m Ginny. I’m the Section Editor for HubSpot’s Marketing Blog, which means I spend most of my days writing and editing, and helping others do the same. Previously, I worked at Shareaholic, leading the company’s content creation and community management efforts.

I’m all about using interactive digital media to help companies connect with their audience, leads, and customers in an authentic, relevant, and engaging way. Outside of my day-to-day content creation responsibilities, I’ve had my work appear in Problogger, CopybloggerSpin Sucks, COMTalk, PR Breakfast Club, and Social Media Today.

I graduated from Boston University with degrees in Communication and Psychology. While at BU, I was lucky to be a part of BU PRSSA as President and Regional Conference Coordinator for PR Advanced. I also was able to intern with Fleishman-Hillard, Solomon McCown and Mastro Communications. All of my experience led me to fall in love with content creation, social media, and interactive digital communication.

Outside of my day job, I’m a former marathoner, aspiring foodie-traveler, and reality TV junkie.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. Want to connect elsewhere? I’m on Twitter and LinkedIn.

    Hi Ginny,

I tried your GIF tutorial on Photoshop CS6 but when I came to the drop down menu at the bottom right corner of the Timeline window, there was no “Create new layer for each new frame” Actually, the drop down menu looks totally different on my PS CS6 than your screen shot. Do you know why there is a difference between my version of PS and yours?

    Hi Ginny,

Love your article on Excel – which is what I am battling to teach myself. It is clear simple and uncomplicated for a novice. Thank you. May I please link this article to a blog I am setting up for our Library students please?

    Kind South African regards,
